We describe Galaxypalooza as a love letter to a galaxy far, far away – and our goal is to capture the atmosphere and excitement of the franchise we all know and love during the day.
To do this, we are assembling a bespoke mix of on-screen and behind-the-scenes guests, artists, authors, hand picked vendors, along with guest and host panels and a cosplay contest.
Guests
We have handpicked some incredible on-screen guests that represent all eras of Star Wars – from the Original Trilogy (1977-1983), the Prequel Trilogy (1999-2005) and the modern era (2015-present).
Current on-screen guests include:
- Trevor Butterfield & David Stone, who both played various roles in the Original Trilogy
- Michael Carter (Bib Fortuna, 1983’s Return of the Jedi)
- Jonathan Cass (ISB Officer, Andor Season’s 1 & 2, and the upcoming Ahsoka Season 2)
- Ross Beadman (Sors Bandeam, 2005’s Revenge of the Sith)
- James Taylor (Kylo Ren double, the Sequel Trilogy)

Food, Refreshments and Facilities
There is an onsite cafe providing paninis, soups, jacket potatoes, toasted teacakes, a range of tempting sweet treats and gluten free options.

Artists
In attendance will be well known industry artists such as Paul Shipper, the man behind official key art for multiple Star Wars projects, official Lucasfilm sketch card artists Jamie Richards and Jay Manchand, and official Star Wars concept artists Jama Jurabaev.
Alongside our guest artists we also have a small selection of independent artists in the vendor halls such as Megan Steed, the artist behind our lanyard designs.
Authors
As guests and in the vendor hall, we are delighted to welcome a number of in demand authors. Highlights include Gianni Venturini and Greg Armstrong of Read Five Designs discussing their guide to Kenner Action Figures 1977-1985, one of the most sought after and praised books in collecting circles.
Also joining us as a guest speaker will be Chris Kempshall, who is the author behind licensed Star Wars works including the excellent ‘Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire’ and the upcoming ‘Star Wars: Star Pilots’.

‘Rebel Forge’ – creator of vintage-style Kenner & Palitoy Star Wars toys and playsets and many more to be announced.

Cosplay
Cosplay is an important and valued part of the Galaxypalooza experience. We are proud to be partnering with our friends ‘Kent & Medway Cosplay Group’ as an official event partner. Kent & Medway will be bringing their renowned custom detailed film-background displays for some incredible photo opportunities!
We’ll be finishing our day event with a cosplay contest with prizes – all are welcome to join! More details will be posted on this, follow us for updates.
